Beauty of Poland by krysta

Postby krysta11 » Sat Oct 18, 2008 6:31 pm

This painting took me loong hours (nights) but I wanted to paint beauty of mine back home I will always remember and love.
Meadows are the most beautiful places in Poland , especially in Summer.
I am returning to Polish meadows in my dreams sometimes.
Hope you will like my subject the way I painted it.

Thank you for viewing and comments.
I would like you to forgive me , that the image is a bit blurry. I have some problems with the computer and camera.

Lots of flowers and green glass and trees with blue skies. And people in love and happy. Very good dreams. A colorful and happy work.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Very joyful, Krysta. I feel like joining them right now on that pretty meadow. :D I used to do folk dancing in highschool. And now I miss it.

Thank you Erika. I was so unhappy with this image , that I decided to purchase new digital camera. Now I have very real pictures. I will delete my image above and replace it with the one which shows real colors on my painting.

I also was good folk dancer in high school. It was fun. The only problem I had was the costume. Extremely expensive . I used to make these costumes by myself ( with mum's help), and they were same beautiful.
Thanks again
K.

Krysta, your work is so full and alive with color, texture, and design. You establish beautiful rhythms in your work, very full of movement.. I really like how you composed the costumes on your people. I really enjoy seeing your work, and with the really rigid rules I've had to stick to for the classes I just started, this picture is like a
eath of fresh air for me.. I do look foward to seeing more.

Be Well and keep painting....

Dear William,

This post is telling me , that I am doing well with my paintings. I know there is a long way in my art to achieve perfection but I am trying hard. Thank you William for a such encouraging words. William it is good , that you started classes. I wish you nothing but success in your artistic journey. Good luck!
Big hug

Just looking at this makes me happy, it's very beautiful. I especially like the peacock feathers in the man's hat. The only thing that bothers me is that everything has a texture and a feel to it except for the man's jacket and both of their hair.

Hi Krysta

I took a little time to concentrate on my art and improving my skills. I sometimes get distracted when I go into the forum. Sorry for the absence, will stay online more often!

I appreciate your comments in the same light as you do mine!!!
