I've been experimenting with this style for a while. Not sure if it is very commercial though. Never mind.

Goth... My opinion is this; when an artist is mainly concerned with "commercial value" the work invariably suffers... without exception.

All three of your paintings have merit... in my opinion Downwardly Mobile is a move in the right direction but warrants much development on the theme {alcohol issues} as I read it.

Just my take... for what it is worth. Be well.

Cheers BAReam. I of couse agree with you about work suffering because of pursuit of commercial value, for example, I feel Warhol's later work rather bland as if he gave up pushing boundaries.

However, having said that, one still needs to sell. It's a ballancing act I find.

It's Popular if everyone wants your work,
... it's Cult if someone wants your work,
... it's Depressing if no-one wants your work.
