Bad mannered voting

Is it just me or is there some suspiciously mean-spirited voting during the competition? I literally saw a piece with an excellent rating while every other piece had awfuls. Seriously? And as time has gone by, it only seems to have gotten worse with artists' friends taking their turn down voting other artists - the amount of awful ratings is not justified. I had to tell my friends to NOT bash other artist's ratings if they wanted to vote on the competition. I wish the mods would regulate the voting in some way. Thanks.

Hi Sean,

I applaud your integrity telling your friends not to down-vote. This has been a problem since the beginning of these contests and happens in any contest out there. That is why we do not use the popular votes as much of a percentage. The final decision ultimately is made by me and my panel.
