Cancer, What are you doing to make this work? And what size is it?
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

This looks great, to me!
If you want to add some details like; fine lines,
large pores, age spots and thinner hair strands
it would be super cooll!
That's just my own look, however.
I like this!
The guy does look sort of mean, though...

Since it's a WIP, I have a suggestion, if you don't mind. The far cheek and
ow need little more shape. Too much of a straight line. The hair is looking great, very soft and the light is very well done.

Can't wait to see this one progress with the details.

Keep up the good work!

This is really nice. I can't determine the light source though, so your lights in his hair are equal on both sides, your darks don't have a "dark side" in the image. Your skin tones would benefit from a more defined tonal structure. Your image and technique are really good, you just need to define the setting so the focal point becomes your subjects face first, then his hand, not his hair or cap etc. By making the setting always lead back to the face and hand, your painting would become a true portrait .

Thanks KickinBear :) I am always open for some constructive criticism as I am still Learning. I have not done that many paintings yet. And I cannot improve if I don not know my mistakes. So than you so much for the comment
