Human Skull

Postby johnwalkeasy » Fri Jun 24, 2011 8:06 pm

My next work will be a human skull. It will be built out of steel nails. Welded with
onze. It will be slightly larger than life size. And will have a patina. I'll be useing 16 penny size nails. And steel concrete nails for teeth. I love it.

The work will be made in 3 sections. The head, the face and the jaw. Will make the head by starting with a side profile. Will draw the front and top profile also with soapstone.

After thinking about it for a bit. I think I'll make this a more abstract work.
I'll still keep it small and lowfile. I just play around a little.
