Got Some patina called Powder Blue from a place called Sculpt Nouveau.
Put it on the skeleton. And will let it set overnight. Will also patina the cube stand a dark color.

This is pretty much what the skeleton looks like. The following photos are not really that reveaing The work is a little lighter and has more detail. But at a later time I will take better pictures. Also I will patina the stand.
However, The work is done. Now ofcourse the patina made change some in the next few weeks or so. In all the time I,ve been doing metal sculpture. This is really the 1st time I,ve worked with patinas.
The title of the work is "Give me som skin" He is 72"tall, the base is 12"x12"
I will retrun to this build log in a few weeks with some much better photos.
But as of now, It,s done.

This magnificent piece turned out great!

I watched the WIP as you put sooooo much of your life and sweat into it.

I gotta say, I really like the color you picked for it... the blue looks so alien (nothing natural about blue bones) and the fact that it's not 100% covering the metal gives it this great battered/textured look. Now that I can see the picture in natural light, I can better appreciate the way the patina color and the metal color complement each other, too.
