A guitar piece I'm working on . . .

Postby weirdpuckett » Tue Oct 20, 2009 2:29 am

Hi e'body . . .Here is a 9x12 watercolor/colored pencil drawing.I am currently working on.I like it so far except that I am not very pleased with the color scheme however, I don't know that I can change that now as the upper layers are now colored pencil.
I am particularly displeased with the red and violet at the top portion of the drawing so I will now just simply apply black to "knock it down " a bit . . .

any thoughts, feel free . . .Mike

Cool design. It's like nothing I've ever seen before.

Maybe add a little green to tone down the upper color issues? Or small lines of black to
eak it up.

I agree with Julie about the fine black lines.

Use your black ink and fine tip and
eak up the reddish tone from the purple. You may also
ighten up the orange and yellow.

I like it.

Your fan,

Karen

Good work, although I like it the way it is I suggest you that you can make the starting point of every negative spaces darkest by using opposite dark colors--best luck.
