"A Spring touch" by krysta

Postby krysta11 » Sun Sep 21, 2008 11:06 pm

I started this painting 2 weeks ago. I am in a spring mood :D
Had to put it away for a while because I was asked to paint other things.
Today I am back with my painting to complete my work.
I would appreciate your opinion on my start. Thank you
krysta

One of your best, my dear. Beautiful use of colour and composition, I can almost smell those magnolias. Bravo!

It,s fall where I live. Halfway around the world. This painting can go in any direction from here. I would keep as much of the blue sky as you can. Maybe not to many more differnt colors would work well here.

The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

John, bpier, gmoulton,
Fantastic replies!!!! Thank you very much.
I am very careful with my painting as John is right what he said. I think , adding more flowers will overdose and my painting will lose this delicate look.
I think my painting will be finished today.

Krysta, I love the color and composition in this onel. Frame it and show it off. The depth and changes of intensity in the
anches is very life like. The hint of spring with the choice of showing budding flowers makes this very beautiful to look at. Very impressive.

this is lovely. I feel like I am looking thru the tree at dusk. It puts me outside the second I look at it. It is beautiful

Hello again here,

I think I finished this painting. Adding more details, I think, would spoil my work.
Thanks a lot for your interest and in my paintings . I appreciate everybody comments.

Krysta,

I LOVE this painting. The blue, it is my favorite colours. I get lost in this one. Are you entering it into anything? I think you should consider it.
Can't wait to see more
