The Bride

The bride - 24 x 36 acrylic on canvas. This is a cropped version. I think I may go over it with a light coat of oils to get the luster I want on the finished painting. It's a full length pose and she's holding a big bouquet. Still a lot of work to do...but thought I'd share.

Nicely done. A coat of varnish, when you're finished, might give it that sheen you want. You use acrylic, so at least you don't have to wait six months before varnishing it.

Nice painting Rich. Heads up. I would not put varnish over acrylic. Anywhere from one week to one month crack lines will appear. It is my experience that you can put acrylic on oil painting but you cannot put any oil based paint or varnish on acrylic. I suggest you use a satin or high gloss finish clear acrylic spray from the spray can. Hope to see the full size painting when you are finished.
