"Milford Star"

Postby yoli » Tue Apr 14, 2015 9:08 am

Every Christmas someone in our town of Milford always places this lighted star on top on the mountain in our town. I took this shot
as we were driving through the town. I then turned it into digital art.

Well you got me on this one sweetheart. I thought it was an oil pallet knife painting. The star is still a distraction to me. I have found that most of the time what is a beautiful photo fails as a painting.

I like the palette knife look. For me, the 'star' is fine but I I need maybe just a couple of stars in the sky? E

Thanks E. the sky was pitch black that night and the only light was the light from the lanterns and the star!

This is beautiful. Personally I think the lone star gives the painting it's character. To take it away would make the sky allot of dead space, to add more stars would clutter it and make it common. The way it looks now gives it a feel of the infinite.
