I put a few finishing touches on this one. Still may go back and touch a few things up.

Really like this painting. The yellow sky is very nice. The Rams and the colors of the landscape are very good.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

John, Krysta and Erika,

Thank you. You are all part of my paintings. I've picked up so many things here by looking closely at all the works displayed.

I am really glad I found this site, and have such great new friends.

Thank you!

Very nice Rich,
I really like the back mountains and sky. The three big boys sitting in the foreground also look great. The strong
ight green grass really frames them in and also creates the illusion of depth as contrasted with the soft grays in the distant mountains.

Rich,
This is a wonderful painting.
I love the subtle use of color in the background, something I am constantly struggleing with. And the sheep are very well done. Detail is excellent. Perspective is great, as it feels as if I'm a few feet away from the Rams(sheep).
Very nice!

Barb, Al, and Dr...

So glad you like this one. Like I've said...I learn from all of you. Everytime you folks post a work, I pick something up that I can use. The way you shade something; highlights; the glint on water or the reflected light from an eye (Barb  ).

Thanks for nice comments gang...
