Holy smoke. Pat, what,s going on here. What a strange and wonderful painting. This is a new dicrection for you. Where will it lead?
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Time to move on

Postby pehiatt » Sun Mar 22, 2009 7:24 pm

Got the kid stuff out of the way. Several of my edgier pieces were a big hit at a major local show in Fe
uary.

As a result of that show I have been asked to prepare a much more serious one man show at a prestigious institute. Now I have to do the work.

These will be much darker and more serious pieces even epic in flavor. Larger in size some 4X5 feet.

I can't blow this one. Big
eak.

Congratulations Pat, on this awesome work and the recognition you so justly deserve. It is definately different that what I have seen of your work, but it is well done and thought provoking.

Definitely a change in direction but same exceptional skill level. All the best in your one man show.
