This is a final drawing for my figure drawing class this semester.
I used the cross-hatching technique with straight lines for everything - both contour lines and shading.
i really like this style and i think i'm going to stick with it. It helps me understand all the different planes in the figure.
This class was really fun! too bad there is only one semester of it for us animation students.
medium: HB charcoal pencil and white compressed charcoal on toned paper.
