Weaving a New World

Postby Teknowizard » Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:49 am

This is a series I intend to do someday when I can afford to buy 3d modeling software. I was feeling frustrated today and so I spent the evening doing this one, mixed fractal & digital painting.

Whomp-a-loo-la and Boing-a Boing-a!
The pink and grey totally get it on this duo.
I like the other but not so much with that background.
Only one persons' opinion. E

Thanks E!

Yea, the top one was an experiment with what I had to work with. One of the things I want to do someday (far in the future) is to create a Virtual Reality Artwork, an entire parallel universe based on many theories and mine (w/probably others) art. Like combining a video game and art gallery into a VR environment, in which visitor travel in star ships
owsing the illusions & concepts of the artists.

Could even be taken to creating virtual worlds they can land on and have virtual stores & art galleries. Who knows, maybe the wave of the future. I predicted that something like ON DEMAND cable would come to be almost 20 years ago, it was only logical.

Randall, I believe you can do that. I can't imagine anything more fun
than touring the stars, going from one gate (or concept) to another! E

Wormhole

Postby Carmelo » Fri Aug 17, 2007 3:56 pm

I continue to be facinated with what you can do with a computer. The wormhole is exquisite! I wonder if you can make them move or give the effect of shimmer?

yea if I could afford software I could easily turn them into motion art. I did one about a year ago the old fashioned way, frame by frame, took me three months to do a 5 minute passage... LOL Someday hopefully I will be able to afford such things.
