We just came in from shopping and I found a great book for Artistic Techniques at the Micheals Arts and Craft store. Its a pretty good size book for $25 and touches alot of different bases. From types of mediums (oil, pastels, etc....) techniques,
ushes, how to do different types of perspective, along with other information on tools of the trade, etc.... Also, it has some informative reading in there as well such as different famous artists and their techniques. So, if you get a chance ....check it out. Its called "An Introduction to Art Techniques" by The DK Art School. For those of you that don't have a "Micheal's", you may be able to find it online if interested. It's full of information and well worth the "look" at least!!!
