Thank you Carl, I was wondering why you prefer working in oils? You have so much finished work, how do you keep the colors from getting all muddy, and doesn't it take days to dry?

Carl, thanks so much for sharing , there is so much I don't know about being a well rounded artist ,so I really value your knowledgeable insight. I too am happily married for 39 years to a man who I will only call a saint, you have to be a saint to live with an artist. There have been many sleepless nights for my husband Steve, I've kept him up till all hours painting, there have even been mornings when he has gone to work with paint or glitter or rhinestones stuck to his bald head! Oh well , he loves me anyway! It sounds like you don't create a mess when you work, you have everything compartmentalized, how nice to be this way. I hope your acrylic painting friends don't get too mad at you!
