I think if I needed a room seperator it would be glass and an image like this would be interesting with transparency.

If you keep developing this technique, add contrasting colors. Complementary colors, maybe add different brush strokes. At least this technique is unique and stands on its own. I cant recall a painter that paints like this. But if some one knows when, they should point it out for you. Maybe you will find something interesting you would like to develop into your art! That has a really nice shattered glass effect. I like the color as well.
