oken. The two figures mirror one another in their pose. While both face forward, each figure counter's and counter-balances the other. The fact that this is a lost-wax
onze impresses me so much. The delicate refinement of the figure, the impeccable use of symmetry, synergy in an expression of geometric grace is so very pure that it goes beyond eloquence. But that's how I see it as someone who used to sculpt. I would love to own a piece like this, but it belongs in the home of an ice dancer, in my opinion. That is this work's market. Olympic caliber ice dancers. It would make a wonderful form for a trophy, though the cast to reproduce it would be very difficult to make, IMO. But I'm also not up on the latest casting processes. It might be that it could be mapped by computer with a lazer and then the casting form created from that template.
