"I was no chief and never had been, but because I had been more deeply wronged than others, this honor was conferred upon me, and I resolved to prove worthy of the trust." Geronimo. What are your comments on the painting?

I like it. I've been trying to think of something to suggest for improvement (because there is always something, no matter how good a piece of art is), but I can't think of anything. The style is consistent, the lighting is consistent, it's detailed and emotive, and a friend walked up behind me while I was looking at the image and said, "Oh, Geronimo! Nice!" so it's even recognizable on first sight to those familiar with him. Beautiful job.
The day we stop learning about art is the day we stop making art.

Men like Geronoimo were an inperation to others. He is one of the greats. This is a fitting painting for one like him. A powerful painting.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Thank you John. I know where you're coming from. He was just an ordinary man that wasn't looking for greatness, what transpired in his life brought out what was destined for his path, somewhat like the seed of a water lily that pushes itself out of the mire in a swamp.

Thank you Sidney,
I recently took this painting to the Heard Museum's Indian Market & Fair and people were saying exactly the same thing as your friend.

Joe,
It's been a long time. I'm in a slump actually, cant think of anything to paint right now so I shifted into Marketing mode and decided to update my haunts. Will be in and out for next few.
