this is a 24 by 30 oil on canvas ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, this one and the last one i posted are going into a rome ,,,,,,,,,,,,,yes a rome magazine for the tourists there ........................they are handing out 10000 copies of it with about 30 artists work .......

i just heard about this the other day ............... when i get that magazine i will post it ................

also i posted this here to ask how do you like it ...................if there is something ,,,,,,,,,,,,blast away you no i can take it

by the way i have been here for some time ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i would like to thank joe and all my friends here for your comments ..............good or bad

i have learned a ton from the people here ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and i am still learning ...............but without you getting on my back ,,,,,,,,,,,kicking me in the rump ...........and all that i just would stop my painting

and i mean that ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so thank you all again . have a wonderful day all :D

Very nice and relaxing and typical of your style.

Just a silly idea...maybe add a nice bottle of Italian wine to the table!

I think you've got your woodland/water look
down to a beautiful style. It seems to me that
your learning curve has to do more with inanimate objects.
The chairs are ok but seem a little stiff and there don't seem to be
white highlites or dark shadows where needed (along the same lines
as the columns in your lovely pavillion. I do really like
the glass effect on the table - I can see you've taken your water
knowledge and applied it there!
I'm just about to post my latest, so any thoughts you
have with that would be greatly appreciated!

My eye go,s to the the green vase of flowers. The color is outstanding. And this is a very nice painting indeed.

nigelartist thanks my friend ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,wine on the table ............you no i am not kidding but i was thinking about doing that ,,,,,,,,,,,but i just liked the refection of the vase and the flowers so i left it as is .........

hello ehoeveler ,,,,,,,the idea for the chairs was not to make them Perfect ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i like the look of things that are used if you get what i mean

we got some chairs at are home and the darn legs are not stright ,,,,,, some people think that if you paint a tree ,,,,,,,,,a chair ,,,,, a swing set everthing has to be just right .................to me i dont like the look of perfect .............

shadows again they are there but have to darkin them up a bit more ,,,,,,,not much ,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks again :D

hey John ,,,,,,,,,that vase was the last thing i did in this painting too........i new right off the bat what was going to make this pop ................i just love that color

congrads on the magazine :shock: that is sweet! your work is great it has a soft flow that blends nicely with the curves and colors in your work. I really enjoy the way it all comes together. Nice Work :P
