Hi All!
This was a marathon in WIP, and I can say that this drawing had many, many growing pains! I changed it so many times, I was afraid of tearing a hole in the paper.
I'm still not happy with the eyes, something is still bugging me, but I've decided whatever i learn from your critiques i will try to incorporate into my next one. This one is done!
This one made me realize how much I miss painting, heck I could have been done with this 3 times over with paint.
This image was taken tonight, so the blue is showing a bit lighter than in RL.
I hope you like it.
But if you don't, don't worry about hurting my feelings, as I need an honest critique...not just feel good.
Thanks.

Thanks so much Brian!
I guess I am my own worst critic, but then that's what pushes me to reach higher, never being satisfied, knowing I can do better.
I'm OK with this one, but I can do better, and I will! 8)

 I put it as my avatar, to help remind me to work harder!

Hi Barb,

I love it. I admire horses and love them as animals but I'm not a horse person and I still enjoy looking at this piece of art. I can't see what eye your having problems with. It's just such a calm looking beautiful horse.

Thanks Julie, but there is something "off" on this horses' proportions. As much as I have changed them from the begininning, there is still something off slightly. Can't put my finger on it tho' :? .

Thanks very much...I've been painting just alot of time in between each one!!! I just finished River Fishing that is for my
other in Ohio. My friend from there visited and took it too him for Christmas. I did get a couple pics but haven't downloaded them yet to see if any of them are good enough to post. I'm working on a beach seen now with basically silouhette palm trees etc....against a golden orange, yellow sunset. Its a huge painting I'm doing for my bedroom so will post it when its done. Sorry I haven't been around much but I do pop in from time to time to check out the new artwork. Hope Krysta gets back as well as I see she hasn't posted anything for quite some time.
Take care,
Linda
