Hi everyone. Finished this one up today and wanted to show it. Oils on gray slate, it measures 10" x 13".

I am improving (I think) like I said, it's been 30 years since I've done any artwork and I am still rusty. It's finally beginning to come back to me.

I have a bad problem with arthritis in my neck, and get crippled from sitting for hours on end in one spot working on a piece of artwork. I get an obsession and just keep going with it until I try to move. Then Yikes! Time to heat up the old bean bag in the microwave and take some arthritis strength pain killers.

I deal with it OK though, been living with if for over 30 years now.

Nice work looks like you can see the hair on the pelt. You really nailed the pelt on this deer. And a wonderful job with the background.great job...Devonna
