Here is another one of my new pieces. This is an 18 x 24 oil intitled "The Artisan". He ended up with a bit too much blue for my liking but did well at a show I entered him in . What do you all think?

Your skill leaves me without much to say. You have a very good furture in front of you. For Sure.

The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

John - I hope so much that you are right :) . My whole life I have wanted to be able to just paint for a living, but being a single mom and all it just wasn't in the cards. But now I have a small window of opportunity to try, and I am putting my all into it. And I am getting a
eak which should help - an east coast magazine is going to be featuring my work in their May edition, and that should do wonders for getting my name out.

Thank you so much for your kind words - even though I know my art is so very different from what you do and like :)
