Finished or not, it's one of the best paintings of the Grand Canal. Bravo! Brian, it would be great if you could post a larger image.

Thanks Erika. I'll try to post a larger size and see what happens. Usually, when I try that the file size is too big.

Brian, if it's too big for the post, upload it to your gallery, where larger file sizes are allowed. Then you can just link it here.

This is beautifully painted, Brian. Maybe some added detail in the centre of the painting would draw the eye in further. Possibly some deeper tones in the clouds or the distant buildings? I'd love to see it framed - maybe that's all it needs to finish it off. Great work :)
