it's all a matter of intent...do you intend to do realistic work...or did you intend to do surreal work?

this is very surreal...on that level it works...if you intended to do something more realistic...maybe it would be a good idea to buy some books of other artists work...flemish masters etc...and study them...

and do more...painting...it's good for you

Michael, yes I intended it to be a surreal piece. Most of my work is in surrealism. I'd like to explore more realistic pieces, but this one was not meant to be realistic. I will check out the books you mentioned, Thanks for the input!
