Well, you asked, and this is "the fury," so...not for me. I keep looking for more from you in your "signature" work.

Thanks bpier; Keep in mind the original painting was done in 1976 {grayscale comp} and the center section was over painted in 1992. The painting had suffered smoke damage due to a fire.

all the best... Bruce

Hello Bruce. Nice to see you back.
I hope you feel OK.
I have to admit, that this painting is difficult for me to interpret . It looks to me like flying kite's frames on different levels. I would like to hear from you why you painted it like that. There must be something in these 3 figures.
all the best Bruce

Hi Kryata; good to hear from you. I'm hanging in there. Your impression of the painting is exactly what I had intended. At one stage of the painting there were lines leading into the background but I thought they were a bit too literal, so I painted them out.

Your new series sounds interesting, but I might add a word of caution, If I may. While dealing with painful issues in ones art is certainly cathartic and therapeutic, there is a danger of it becoming a mindset. I'm certain you will be wise enough to know when to call the series finished and move forward.

One of most important things I enjoy about your work is that it is vi
ant and life affirming. I would hate to see that lost... be well.
All the very best... Bruce :)

Thank you for the high compliment. And I'm a horse (either a fire horse or an earth horse, depending on the source of the determination; I'm a Taurus and a seven. There. That covers Oriental Astrology, Occidental Astrology, and Numerology. ;D

Dawn... you're welcome. Have hit a couple conceptual walls in new piece, but moving forward. Completed soon I hope :?

As for me,.... Aries/Pisces {almost always conflicted  } and #7 as well. Cosmic significance ? Be well.

I love your discussion with D.L.
Bruce I know I can't go to far with my series. Heart attack for sure. lol. I am careful and I will stop it on time. Promise.
I am glad that my guess about your work was good. Started to understand paintings much better.
All the best Bruce. Look after yourself.
I am going to work hard on my project and I will be away from here for some time.

Lacking in caliber when compared to your other works.

I like it. Not sure what it's supposed to mean, if anything, but it's pretty.

Thanks Kit... this particular painting is mostly about painting... no deep esoteric significance... glad you like it.

Be well... Bruce
