It is very interesting. It really reminds me of the little wood sculptures you can find at the Hallmark store.

Thanks Riaan. It's ironic in a way, this piece got the best response here, but it recently got a rejection from a local juried show. I was really sad to find out no sculptures were accepted at all...

If I were you, I would gently persuade the jury or committee to
oaden their horizon and stop being such stuck ups! I think your sculpture deserved to be showed. Aah well, you still got us, your friends to honor and adore your artworks!!!
