I didn't really like this painting. It was my second painting and gave me a lot of headache . I tried to make it look better and I am afraid I destroyed it. I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks a lot in advance.

I've said this before...when you're not sure whether a painting is finished or not then it probably is.

I always sit back and have a good study...you may have to tweak bits here and there...but if it looks fine then LEAVE IT!

No, you did not distroy it. It just has a different feel to it, less realistic. The lights go with the theme. I like it, I hope you too.
Nigel is right and is not. If you're unhappy with a work, is not finished. You either stash it away or keep working on it. Leonardo worked on Gioconda for decades, still left it unfinished.

I have destroyed alot of work, mostley the same day of. when it is someting I am trying to acheive the redo is much better. draw, paint, paint, draw whatever the remix is better. Ted

Another suggestion from me...NEVER destroy anything.

EVEN YOUR MOST CRAPPIEST WORK YOU CAN LEARN SOMETHING FROM.

I have works that are shite big time!

Remember...these works have been a preliminary to your greater ones. Mozart, Beethoven, Van Gogh and many writers have 'blocks' or 'not so good spells'.

It means you have to respect me now not love. My husbands mother looked even worse. Who cares Nigel. This picture is only temporary. My husband wants to take very artistic picture of me but we both never ready for that. Be patient , please. It will happen.
