Two Monotypes

Two Monotypes depicting the "totem" image. Bear with me as these are terrible photos behind glass, and had to use flash. Comments.. I know these are hard to see.

EXTREMELY GOOD. Now. Take these...preferably without the flash glare, put them and anything LIKE them, including the one I posted on that made you post these, and get them on a DVD or CDR, and submit them to galleries. These need to be limited editions. I'm hoping you pursue this style. The style is very salable. High end if the original so DO NOT SELL THE ORIGINALS UNTIL YOU HAVE MADE YOUR NAME WITH THEM as LEs with galleries.

Pursue this dark style. It "speaks."

I have always liked monotypes and have had a fixation of a sort with cave paintings...particularly the horses. I will have to dig for some old drawings I did in that area and see if they might prompt some additional work.

Krysta...
east cancer wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but I think it could apply here. The work is about events or issues that damage the self concept and or ego; to use your vernacular... personal pain, alienated relationships, loss and suffering.

Be well... Bruce

Monotypes

Postby Mike51 » Mon Aug 18, 2008 8:37 am

Wow Bruce.....These are really powerful images with an overtone of vulnerability. The subject of
east cancer seems to fit, but it doesn't have to be that specific. Good work.

Mike... thanks for your comments. Glad you like them. As for the content, these images could apply to almost ANY traumatic event; depending entirely on the viewer.

thanks again for the look and comment... be well.

What you have done here is totally amazing. I particularly like your use of color and very nice textures you have created.

120% eye satisfying!
