Once again, you do not disappoint with the vi
ancy and power of the colors. But I think in this one, you did the best job in transitioning from the background to the foreground. I like this one a lot. What is the medium?

Hi Joe I appreciate your comments, the medieum is 96% acrylic with a slight digital enhancement in final output, pretty much whatever I post on this site is acrylic based, then I photograph digitally, and tweak it as the piece deams necessary. I try to not sell the original paintimgs whenever possible and do limited edition giclee canvas for collectors...once again thanks for a great site and your feedback...Myztico

Stylistically, I have to say the aspect I love the most
is the beautifully pointillistic tree.

I confess, I was intrigued by the title and
I am a bit confused why the tree not only is completely
incongruous, but seems to play a secondary role.

What kind of 'tree' are you referring to?

I guess, if you'd like me to be honest,
I'd say it is a very lively or perhaps psychedelic piece,
but for it to really possess a viewer, it really needs to flow
within itself instead of carrying a viewer
in a million different directions simultaneously!

It seems that you really took your time on the Tree.
Perhaps that was the point?

Remember, as long as you learn from
a balanced critique,

*the tree looks much better in person as there's only so much detail that can be captured in a picture, here is a piece that I wrote that goes with "Holy Tree", perhaps it will help explain the theme a bit better:
On a distant desert a lone holy tree stands proudly in a state of evolutionary enlightment. A wise ancient face appears during full moons as devoted ones make a pilgrimage in honor of its undeniable wisdom...When listening to the sacred teachings
Consider yourself most fortunate.
Show a face radiant with joy
And a smile exuding delight;
Listen with a mind free of the three pot-like faults.

* I based it on a Banyan Tree, & yes you are right it does come off as secondary role because I wanted to illustrate a sort of mystical pilgrimage to this sacred tree...

*I agree, at times I begin with a focused idea, then the idea evolves to encompass with it additional energies, I tend to get into an eerie sort of trance when I'm in the creative zone. Things tend to flow and I find when I begin to analyze why it flows the way it does then it loses it's "magic k" if you will so I've stopped questioning the source.

It seems that you really took your time on the Tree. Perhaps that was the point?

*I did take my time on the tree as that was the 1st thing that I focused on...everything else flowed from there...

first of all i really like your pictures the digital mixed with paint really makes me think... second of all i agree with sonic its very busy i had to really look for the tree ... but that is also a good thing because the painting never get dull and boring. i like your painting.

Firstly, let me just say that you come off energetically at least in a
very graceful and peaceful state.

You managed to absorb my critique and
see the light behind it.

That gives me Hope for the future of this planet.
Shamballah will be realized
and it will come to fruition through people that
think and live like you.

I could I guess say that I create every day.
Just not by painting lately.

My paradigm has shifted from an artist's
viewpoint quite dramatically.

I have gotten to this point of sheer exhaustion,
and I find it hard to find balance currently.

So good for you that you find the time to honor
The Divine in you and indeed all of us by painting.

When I paint, I channel the energies of God.
Which is not actually all that shocking as we are
all a part of him and each other.

I being a Kabbalist primarily, thought that what you'd written
was beautiful and truthful.

You I am thinking are connected to your Higher Self
and therefore are flowing with God.

I could go on and on about spirituality
but I know that you are in touch with that so
I'll just ask that you keep in touch in some way
as I feel a connection to you from over here
across the pond and wish you Love Light
Balance Joy and Hope and Prosperity.

Life is not necessarily easy but it can be easier and Joyful for the most part.

We fight so hard against what is flowing already.
That would be The Will Of God.

Life remains however, Beautiful.

I have never been so glad to be who I truly am than right now!

And, if you live in the 'I am ' moment you will find I believe time
to accomplish all your heart puts into motion.
