Here are two new drawings I did last month. Both are conte'crayon on handmade papyrus paper - which is kind of fun but a pain in the butt at the same time Always happy for any opinions and/or critiques.
Thanks The papyrus paper is kind of hard to work on - every piece is different and parts of it are slick and won't take the crayon, other parts so thin you have to be careful not to tear it when drawing. You have to work With it and make the paper part of the drawing (instead of fighting it) and that is what makes it fun. And I like the effect of the sepia toned conte'crayon with the paper.
