Please don't tell me this place is still in use.
I like the way you captured the skylight
illuminating the horrible surroundings below.

no no no.. it offically closed in like 1971 i believe. they reopened and have self guided tours ther now. i was going to be torn down to build a shopping center i believe but this restoration group a guess bought it and are trying to "re-build" it so it remains intact. half of it is off limits . i had to sign a waiver declaring they are not resosible if i got hurt. its that run down. the cool thing about it was that the self guided tour was narrated by steve buscemi. if your in philly you should deffinately check it out.

Having asked others to post larger images I find myself wanting smaller ones here LOL. They are just too large for my laptop's (1280x800) screen. From what I can see though you appear to have captured the mood of the place. I particular like the first B&W shot.

Great shots. I also think the first one is the most striking. Just by looking at it I get claustrophobia. Very well done.

If I go back to Philly I will check it out. I was also interested by the
garbage dump located next to the Hogg Island Airport! E

Wow. I wish I could take photos like that. Love the black and white one especially - really captures the mood.
