Don't need to know the impetus for this as I have hugged the porcelain throne more than a few times in my younger days. So I will just say this is another really good abstract painting.

OK, fine. This is good because of the extreme level of color control implying shapes with lines and splashes while not overwhelming the negative space defined as the black background area. The random organization of the oranges and yellows create a visual conversation in the viewer's mind about a feeling of space supporting or containing a presence of an explosion. And, finally, it simply looks pretty and I like it.

You two... :) LOL
In general, I am not as huge of a fan of Abstracts as you and many folks I know.. I can appreciate their place, but I do not typically do them as art. I also agree with the sentiment that Abstracts tell stories in the viewers mind, that only means something to them. For me, this one speaks of fire, or Firework displays in the night sky on a temperate weathered night. Or even more, a dance of a Chinese New year dragon with its streaming silks and firecrackers... This is a festive piece any way you look at it. :) For this, I like it and agree with Carl, that simply its pretty.

Don't you dare do that. You have long history of taking a perfectly beautiful painting and then trashing it. Learn when to stop.

I deeply hear you on that, Carl and Lord Knows I've screwed up Many a pic but Jenn is right. This is supposed to be
a look at someone who's let it get out of hand..Yes, it's a thrill-ride of amplified brain activity.
I wanted to equate the orange to reds with a feeling of fun and power.. But I also feel the need to stress just a little more
about the downside, or it wouldn't be honest.

no no.. don't change it... it think its fine... there is the aspect of fun... that imagery I got out of it was just my view... but then that is where Abstracts lead the viewer as well as the artist.
