Is it time yet?

This is a forum where you can post your art work and ask what the world thinks. I am looking for general feedback, nothing too technical. A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

Is it time yet?

Is it time yet? Time I can't wait. The one holiday that comes around the same time but still finds me unprepared. So wrong.

Yippeeeee!!!!! The Christmas lines!!
But Uh-Oh, anyway...Your Tree, Ornaments
and the 'Curtain' lines are wonderfully constructed but
In my subjective opinion, I'd ask to remove one or
the other, bottom image.
I'd like to see either the presents OR the lil' gremlin
'go back up the chimney', so to speak.
To me, one 'outta the box' image is great but
two overpower the delicacy of the rest of the lines. E.

I thought that under the Christmas tree needed something. And honestly, sometimes I can't stop myself. I should stop before I go too far. This time I may have crossed the line, no pun intended. I really appreciate the feedback though.

Ya know, this is where I feel the need
to back-step a little and remind myself
and others that my critiques are purely
subjective and personal. Yes, I can scare up some
historical references but for the artist who draws
or paints in a new, unknown way (to me), I have
to just go by my gut and what pleases my eye
or my sensibility.
Basically, DK, I don't want to influence your
vision, OK?
For example, If you really feel that the bottom
tree area is a lil' busy, that's cool but then again, if
ya wanna keep both things, who am I to say
that it's wrong? Just keep up the good work!
'Best, E.
