The Photowork of Melanie

This is a forum where you can post your art work and ask what the world thinks. I am looking for general feedback, nothing too technical. A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

Mmmm..well since there seem to be cat lovers out there...lol..thought I'd post a few more..
This is ET as a kitten...I used to have another ET--got him when the movie first came out in 1982--he passed on the beyond...then years and years later this ET came along...and the resemblance was uncanny...every single mark exact it was eerie.

And here's Geronimo as a kitty--a real babe

Believe me I have quite a lot of photos of my kitties---some were cooperating in my taking photos the others, uh, not exactly...my two current cats are of the latter category...hate being photographed

I thought for a change I'd post one of myso-called studio shots that I often did on a seasonal theme

I also include here a photo of one of the craft things I do--eventually I want to perhaps sell these on e-bay

Have you ever heard of the magazine 'Cat Fancy'?
Send them your darling kitty pictures! ET and Geronimo
are unparalelled in their cuteness. E

yes--have heard of Cat Fancy--they tend to be real picky about photos--but never submitted electronically so maybe would have better luck--will give it a shot

My goodness it's been awhile since I've been here. I sometimes wonder the wisdom of having my own computer now--I was belly-aching for so long of wanting one--you see it's not uncommon for me now to be glued in front of the computer until four in the morning!!! Still busy scanning photos, and trying my luck with contacts...nothing so far...by mid-week I'm hoping to pay the barest minimum for my website and it'll knock out those pesky pop-up ads on it and give me more disc space

Anyway, for now, thought I'd post another one of my pics...this was taken at Discovery Island years ago at DisneyWorld..since it was a "controlled" environment with a lot of wire meshing around, I did a bit of tweakiing with Elements 4 to eliminate the meshing...Still could probably work on it some more to completely eliminate it
