Rodrigo,

Very powerful work. I think colour is your forte.

it ranges from style to style, im in love with the latin muralists, bold colors and weight to their subjects.
Graffiti is another, street art has been part of me since i was 14. With street art, it's gotta be bold, strong and competitive.
I like to combine color and line painting.
there are probably more influences but i cant think of any at the moment.

The colors in this work almost steal the show. but the figure is the focal point. And it domonates the work. A figure of one who dwells in all people. We as humans are built of emotions. Or is it just one. One that changes. Changes to suit the color in which we want for those to know us. Many colors come together to form this figure. And he lives away from the colors of it's being and the colors in the world in which he lives. Colors almost conseal our being. Almost.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

I like it. But watch the shadows! Why is the part of the leg that comes up from under his body more lit that the one he is standing on? I love the cartoony feel to a character...

I agree with djuric; maybe if you would hi-lite the standing leg and recede
the stomping leg except for the over-thigh, foot/ankle area it would work better. I also think the size of the mans' arm and the calf of his leg are competing for space. If you want that leg to come forward, make it a little bigger that the arm. Concept, style and colors very interesting.
