I've dabbled in acrylics a bit, never tried oils, but might someday.
I'm sure you will enjoy it here, I know I do!

I'm new here too, just joined last month. So far, I like it a lot. I agree with the previous comments. Most of my life I was a "hobby painter" but I decided to go back to college to learn how to really paint. I love it. Perhaps, you'll do that too. I've been to Austria several times, to Abtenau (small town). Beautiful country! Paint those Alps!
