Hello there

Postby candragon » Sat Mar 29, 2008 7:03 am

Hi everyone

I've just registered on the site after looking around for a few weeks but not having the courage to join...

Just wanted to say hi and that I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone and discussing our art. :)

My own style is painterly and a bit dark - I love to paint Dragons, but not pretty ones. My Dragons are monsters...

Thank you for the warm welcome singular.

Hopefully I'll have something up soon, once I get the hang of the gallery! :) I'm new to all this so it may take some time...

And I would also like to say a quick hello to all the other new members who are just joining. Looking forward to seeing your work.

Hi Candragon, welcome. Don't dragons suppose to be dark and dangerous? :) Just look around the user gallery, there's all kinds of not-so-pretty but good art. Your dragon by the way is a fine one,
ing the rest on!

Thanks Erika, I had no idea it would appear out there so soon :) And I defifnitely agree - I always thought of Dragons as "dark and dangerous". Havent had a chance to look round the gallery yet, been too busy just getting used to the site! Think I'll pop in for a look now.

And thanks also for the welcome Mike. Looks like one of my pictures is already up, so feel free to have a look and post comments :)

Thanks for the comments :D I'm actually working on a series of similar Dragons - I call them my Gargoyles! Will post them for discussion once they are finished.

Just had a look at your images. They are really good :D Especially the still life Jarron Con Calas. I love the colours. Beautifully painted.
