What an awesome painting, your
ave to do something as emotional as this was for you. It takes guts to take all those feelings and let them out, no better way then on a canvas! Great job Krysta!

it's so funny, everyone has said it looks like something different. I've heard A Christams tree, a light house, something unmentionable I'll let you guess. I really had a good time and I thnk next time I'm going to carver something with the foam before applying.

I left it outside and it is unfortunately really chilly here, so I think it dried slower then it would've it's still a little wet, but firm enough to carry and extremely heavy! So here it is, not the best pic, but I did my best..... photography isn't my thing.... yet :) P.S I'm calling it the Garden...

I had a foam piece and then I just took like a handful of the mixture and started at the base and smoothed my hand up the foam to make it stick, I just kept doing that until the entire foam piece was covered and then I kinda molded a little around it. I used mosiace pieces on it and well..... I'm ju...

I did it.
I used a foam base, it was messy, but fun. I used rubber gloves. I just pray that it doesn't rain tonight or tomorrow morning because if I try to move it right now it will
eak and it's in the middle of my patio. I'll post it when it's dry enough to move and take pictures.

A cement question

Is it possible to make a sculpture with cement without pouring it into a mold? My husband seems to think I'm completely nuts, but I think if you just add less water then it will be more formable. Don't ask why I choose cement, cause I'm still trying to figure that one out. Thanks :)

Center for Independent Artists

I was looking at some artists page on MNartists.org and it had a link to a website, so I checked it out and it was the Center for Independent Artists page, and so I started to read it and they have a LOT of really amazing programs. The one I was particularly interested was this one where if you volu...

The first one is really cool, it's like half real half not, I like the mixture of fantasy and reality. The second one, I could look at for hours, it has so much going on, but not to much where it looks unbalanced, I just love it. The light blue with the black leads your eyes around it in a very nice...
