I also loved all of them. My fav is the third one. very interesting. Looks like real nature in the background then the front tree inserted somehow. Looks cool.

Actually, its not bad at all. I like it alot. You have a good sense of light and dark. I also have had no formal training. You just keep going and you get better and better. Good Luck!

Thankyou guys for the compliments. The painting is an 18"x24". Also, yes to Al. I was trying to make the door the central focus piece. It is the only part of the painting that is ,painted realisticly but not. Does that make sense to you? I hope I explained it right.

Its a good start. Keep in mine when your drawing look at the shaded areas as well. Bring them in and you will achive depth in her face. Keep on going.
