Very pretty, reminds me of where I grew up. Very nice colors, a nice "crisp" feeling, and that boat is just begging to be taken out on the water. Very nicely done. :)

A dream of a dream...

So I've been working on this one for about five days now... The canvas effect was a bit difficult for me, but I feel satisfied with how it came out. Tell me what you guys think? Sorry it's so friggin' huge... http://fc93.deviantart.com/fs41/f/2009/055/3/4/A_dream_of_a_dream____by_FracturedReality.jpg

The Wanderer

I'm not so thrilled with this one... I've been at it for two days, recovering from a flu... I dunno.
What do you guys think?

Thank you so much, everyone! DLKEUR: In the actual picture, her features are blended into the background a little better, but it's so wide, I chopped it up and squished her over to where the BG was a bit lighter, so her edges stand out more sharply than I intended. :( Also, I don't use Air ush, I us...

Well, it looks like someone else took away the only crit I had... the hand. But I must also point out that while the hand does not have the same power as the head, it also does not detract from it for me. Very well done, and I can't frickin' believe that you did this with a pen! I am jealous.

Yes, now it IS finished, lol.
Very beautiful... I love the golden haze, and the peaceful sense.
My only critique would be... oh who am I kidding, I can't think of anything. I'll let you know if I do ;)

Blue Memory

Inspired by the Nightwish song "Ghost Love Score" "We used to swim the same moonlight waters Oceans away from the waking day Scent of the sea before the waking of the world Brings me to thee into the blue memory" http://fc18.deviantart.com/fs40/f/2009/036/0/9/Ghost_Love_Score_by_...

Very well done, I love the contrast and shading, very realistic. What kind of paper are you using here?

Thank you so much, Linda! I use Photoshop 7 and even though mistakes are easier to correct than on canvas, it's also a lot easier to lose all of your work if your computer crashes (Which mine does often).

Oh my, I really don't see how you could find the time to put so much detail in! Very beautiful... I think the only complaint that I would have about having one in my home would be that I would keep bonking into the wall, lol!
Superb work!

A fractured point of view...

Hulloo, my name is Sara, and this is some of my stuff. My style varies from as-realistic-as-possible to a more cartoony or illustrated look... it all depends on the mood I'm in. :D Tides http://fc97.deviantart.com/fs41/f/2009/021/8/e/Tides_by_FracturedReality.jpg Summoning the Storm http://fc52.devi...
