Hi Keiko Second attempt? Wow! of him or in general for portraits? You've done great girl even if your not a beginner. I like your use of various colors in the skin tone. Great job on the proportions and the facial hair came out looking great! What kind of pastels did you use? Pencil or stick or both...

Hi mrwilson,

I'm not very adept at digital art, I fight with photoshop and use it only as needed so I can appreciate others work with computers.

What are your plans with your piece that your working on?

You do beautiful work Erika. 3D art makes me think too hard lol! I love the expression on both faces. I agree with Byart that your proportions are wonderful and to do it on such a small scale - wow!

I don't know how to reply. On one hand your art work is just so phenomenal and just incredible. You've got wonderful skills. I could stare at it for hours. Doesn't hurt I'm a huge sci-fi fan :D . But even if I weren't it's incredible. On the other hand my heart goes out for you that your living in s...

My hats off to you sir, what incredible art skills you have and even more the depth behind your subject.

Will these be going on display so the public is introduced to them? It would be interesting to watch others responses.

Hi rrsum, This painting makes me want to go there. Beautiful, love the colors. I thought it was oils and just realized you said it was acrylic. Great blending, do you use a medium to blend it so evening? Like Bullwinkle btw. Are there real moose in those woods? I live a few hours south of some serio...

Beautiful Pyrography! I love how the feathers are so soft looking and how the owl is clutching the foliage that looks like it's trying to escape from his clutches.

Nice job. I've tried a little wood burning but can never get anything to have an even line.

Hi Imarie23, What beautiful children, they look so happy and a fun pose too. Do you paint your canvas upside down to work on the baby  ? I rather work on figures with darkrt skin tone then light. I find it's much more fun. Don't be too concerned about using more unofficial colors such as blues,...

Hi Cherylz, I love the colors you have chosen to use. The eye is just pulled right into the painting. Your flowers are so ight and happy too. But since you asked what we thought.....my only concern would be the mountains. The color looks flat, weired thing to say about mountains. Could it be the ima...

Thanks Byart :D . I've got a few ideas I'm kicking around to do a different take on the first one. I'm lucky as I'm the Director for Child Abuse Prevention in our county and I get to create a lot of things (posters, window displays, etc) to help get peoples attention to promote prevention of child a...

Sample of my work

Hi, I've been asked to post some of my work, as I'm a newbie here. It's a small sample of what I've done. I started painting just about 3 years ago. Here's a macro I did of a blue clematis. It's done in oil on 24x24 MDF. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd113/JuliePflanzer/blue-clematis-too-ws.jpg...
