Hey Mike,
I think this is one of your best paintings. I love the depth/ color and the people included work so well in the composition.

This is a stunning drawing. I applaud you for your dedication and commitment to excellence. Many artists have the tallent but don’t have this drive you seem to have and it shows in your work.

Very nice work. I really like the transitional areas of this painting specifically grapes to table, wine glass and bottle to table. Your floral was also very well done. My only concern is that the I wish you had of given the wine bottle a bit more attention as though nicely colored it appears to me ...

Aside from the door, everything works really well for me. You have excellent detail, a great composition, nice contrast and texture. However, your ight red door blows everything out of the water, way to strong for what you have painted considering the walls holding it up. I will assume this was your...

I think you did great job on this, somewhat loose but so absolutely accurate. From your painting, I would recognize this couple anywhere.
You should be very pleased with this work.

Here is my honest opinion. Your art work needs a tune up but that’s not why I’m responding or my focus. We are all in the stages of trying to get better, especially me. You posted your work on the supposedly most critical aspect of this forum. Your initial statement was I don’t think it’s very good....

Hey Artisticsha Stunning painting! You definitely have the detail going on here, very nice job on the water and vegetation and it’s not a small piece of art work. How long did it take you to do this? Ok, Your in the Fury so here is my critique and only based on my own very limited formal art educati...

Thanks Rich.
You are always so kind in your assesment of my works. I just may have to pay a visit to the areas that you mentioned. I loved the ruggedness of the high land country.

Acrylic on masonite , back country

Acrylic on masonite, 34" x 23" depicting a very remote highlands meadow . No ATV’s back in here. I was fortunate to spend a week camping in this back country. You better have some good legs and know how to use a compass. This ook was full of trout and most evenings a big bull moose would m...

Love this painting and also your explanation. Your work is always very dramatic and you somehow manage to tell the story just with your skill as a painter.

You are a deep thinker and deeper painter, very rare combination. I have no idea what “the patron deity of agriculture and the theater" means but I can understand having a few to many glasses of wine and thinking I can actually paint well. OK, I missed the jest but what I didn’t miss was your t...
