Re: I am a dinosaur
I find with amazement that most of the critics discussing the decadent and immoral state of the arts (sex and nudity) are ignorant, ill spoken and usually have no idea about that which they speak. quote] Yeah! While reading this post I can feel your passion about the subj...

I worked from an actual flower. I was always told that it was more difficult to work from a photo because it was harder to get any depth to the picture. but I'm going to try anyways soon. ^.^

This work reminds me of an impressionist, when I rolled my chair back a few feet from the screen I got a much greater sense of the the picture instead of 'all the own'. Very niceley done, if you do this type of picture again I'd recomend blending in the pencil strokes in the backround more to give i...

As a fan of black paper and white charcoal myself, I am so impressed with this picture. I find drawing the light on black paper instead of shadows on white to be so much easier for me. Great work, put up some more. :D

Hmmmm. .. I never know what to say about my own work. I do admire O’Keefe but she was not the inspiration behind me doing the flowers. I constantly find myself peering at wondrous things and people will sometimes ask me what I'm looking at. So I decided with the flowers I would show them. I would ...

You are doing very well with the translation and I really enjoyed looking at your sculpture in the gallery. the little seedling growing on the dead trunk is very cute and also makes a great statement.

Orchid

I'm just posting this, it is done and framed I am thinking about doing a narccisis (sp?) flower this weekend. This is done in pastel on a heavy cream colored paper. About 30x26 (?) inches, but I'm not exactly sure. Enjoy! [/img]
