Yes, I do! It turned out great! I like the constructivist feel it has, and so many variations of eyes. Great job, E!

Great to have you back Brian after a difficult period. Interesting style for this one, different from what I remember.

Hey Nigel. I like Cecilia's portrait very much, and Joe's idea of cropping is working well. But it sounds to me you want to keep that background as part of what you'd like to express. I'd suggest you try to integrate the portrait more witth the background, perhaps through more colour or by creating ...

I understand your frustration, E. Just a thought: what if you tried the alien eyes style from the other work? Fewer colours, simplified background, but the happy colour scheme might work. I feel your pain, but keep trying.

No, don't scrap the idea! It's great, but keep experimenting. Put it aside if you need to, but come back to it later with fresh eyes. The concept is great. Maybe you're trying to squeeze in too much into one piece. The background seems to overwhelm the figure. I think less might become more in this ...

E, you're on a roll! I love this one, the eye is fantastic! Will the ones in the background have eyes too? I think the more the better. I like the colour scheme, I would just paint the eyes blue. Creep us out, do not hold back with this one! Haha, you just make me drop in more often.

Looks great, E! If you could somehow make him "pop" out of the background it would be even better.Either making him more 3D, or by contour, or by receding background. Concept is really good, with all the geometric shapes!

Yup, now you're talking. Your fataliens would make great dance partners to my ball people! 8) don't know if you seen them, they're relatively new as well.

Yeah, it's truly amazing how the pieces come to life. The skull is my favourite, your skill really shines there, John. Watching the process I have the feeling you need to think ahead all the time about the individual components and how they will fit into the whole. Very conceptual process, so I'm wo...

Hey E, good to see work from you! First I like the sound of "fataliens", really cool. And funny. Possibly a subject for a whole series like the second one? I like the raw energy but wonder if you also tried the style of Peace Alien, which is wonderful. I like the return of figuration by th...

Hi Sara, I'd just like to add that you made a good choice entering "Audrey" in the contest which tells me you know which way to go. For me the other portraits capture a fleeting moment, which is fine, but if one can portray the essence of a person, the character, it will give the portrait a...
