"I like your art, but it doesn't go with my couch/wall/

Do you get these type of comments from potential buyers?
And what do you think it really means?

Hi Joe,

Thank you for moving that image into my album. Looks like I was finally able to upload my other images too. I still can't see any of avlearay's images though. I can access other members' gallery, but not hers. :(

Joe, I can't see anything. When I click on her gallery icon, no images come up. When I click on your gallery icon, they do. I don't know. In my profile no gallery icon shows up at all, although I uploaded a few pics in the user gallery. What am I doing wrong? Please let me know. Thank you, Erika

Hi Lea,

Thank you for your welcome. I'd love to check out your works, but there's no image when I click on your gallery. It says "No image to display". Maybe Joe can help you there.
Hope to see your stuff soon,
Erika

Oilpainter, I like it, there's a certain timelessness to it that is very appealing, and the colours are lovely. I've noticed that the second horse seems to be standing in the water, but there's a splash around it, also most of the splash seems to go straight upwards instead of all over the place. I ...

Thanks, Joe. I don't see a mixed media category in the User Gallery, so I'm not sure where my works would fit.

Starving, I followed the very interesting discussion about your painting. I went back to your original painting and compared it to your finished one. I have to say I still like the original one better. That was you, your individual style. I liked the soft edges and the large flat areas. It also proj...

Hi Steve, I love it! I think it's actually better than your "message" work. It leaves more to the imagination of the viewer... The only thing that I would suggest you think about is the flat area between the head and arms. I would add something to it for more interest, maybe cut out a piec...

Hi from Canada

I'm a new member, and I love this site very much. My creations are somewhat unusal, at least when it comes to technique. I use my own handmade paper, and incorporate found objects (mostly flowers, leaves and twigs) into them. Lately I've been trying to add colour to them. Here is my website, I welco...
