Re: Love, Sadness and a Faery Tale ending!

Hello Erika and you too John! That's a lovely story too John. It seems everyone has a special "giving tree" in their life!

Merry Chistmas everyone! Guenn

Re: Love, Sadness and a Faery Tale ending!

Hi Karen! Some years ago a similar size tree was cut down on the property (at the other end of the building) because its root system was actually starting to lift one corner of this four story building (trees can be enormously strong over time). In this case, the neighboring building owner, who had ...

Re: Love, Sadness and a Faery Tale ending!

Hello all.... My son has told me he can see small air bubbles in it so it must be glass, which I already suspected, but that really does not matter to me, it could have been an ordinary rock and I would have been (almost) equally delighted! Take care, Guenn

Re: Love, Sadness and a Faery Tale ending!

Hi Joe.... It's amazing! One reads of things being found in strange places but really, this "takes the cake"! I remember now, many years ago in California, seeing a tree where a brick had been lodged in the crotch of a tree and the same process was under way. It could no longer be removed ...

Love, Sadness and a Faery Tale ending!

Hi everyone! I posted this recently (a couple of days ago) in another forum.... "Hello everyone.... I don't know if this really qualifies as a "Forum Topic", and I know many would say "it was only a tree", but sharing does help to soothe the pain of ones loss, and is enormou...

Re: THE VENETIANS - Oil Painting

Thank you Artifex, and hello again everybody! I had some health issues (normal at 85) and even a small stroke, but believe it or not everything is back to normal! Hope all the very best for all of you this holiday season! Guenn http://anglamarke.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/Copy_of_posters_1-3...

Hi John,

I cannot take credit for the space really, that is a little collage work I threw in for effect, along with many of the gems in the foreground. Glad you like it! Hope you are well and happy.

Hello to you Mayumi!

That makes three fans! Very appealing, and the rendering of her hair is great! Was there a model?

Bravo!

Hello Noel! Great stuff, somehow reminiscent of Dali. You say this is your first post? Well, no one can say you do not know how to make an entrance! As Sandra said, "Fantastic surrealism. Love the attention to detail, creation, life birth stages of life kind of stuff. Very well though out, comp...

Nummber Three!

Hi Brumblebee! I like the style and colors in the third one, very expressive. I have no problem with the size, I just reduce my screen size to 50% of normal to see the whole image. It seems like it is taking me forever to learn how to resize images to fit the screen, and I still am not quite sure wh...

Charming, especially that adorable foal! I never worked with pastels for some reason, but you really seem to "have it down". How are the dogs doing, by the way?

We have already met, figuratively speaking, but a belated welcome to you John! I noticed on your web log you are writing a novel. I love novels, and even succumb to the temptation of reading a good bodice ripper once in a while! I do not think I am the only one here who would like to know more about...

Nice! Love the theme, and the dark moody background. I think your rendering of the short fur, particularly around the area of the face, is very good.
