Hi Mike, Another fine job! I don't know what it is, but every one of your paintings seems to takes me to a fond memory. Get out of my head :)
I love your view of a landscape. I was looking in your gallery, and Train44
is awesome. Thanks for sharing them. Steve

Hi, John Thank You! The only paint on this one was the white. The black
was all done with a torch. The wood preservative
ought out the richness of the wood. I was very happy with the outcome. Steve

Thanks, Mike I'm sure you know when in your groove, things just seem so natural. It felt like it was always there, hidden under a layer of bark. On a
lot of my carvings I use glass or acrylic eyes. For me they seem to add,
not take away from the carve. Thanks Again, Steve

Hi John, Its a labor of love. Sorry I didn't answer your last posts. I just figured out how to do it. I hate these computers. I love your work also. I always wanted to work with metal, but always seem to return to wood. After 30 years as a maintenance man my hands have been oken, twisted, and crushe...

Hi Wayde, I agree with John! If its what you love, push your limits! I've been an artist my whole life, and went through many changes, charcoal, oils, ceramics, you name it. My hands a shot now, and just over five years ago I tried Chainsaw Carving, and loved it. I too, posted some of my work to see...
