Re: Good Morning

Excellent Design Work! Hey is that Cher?!!! Lol, no it's the Goddess Eriu (though, ironically, I do get alot of comments about my art looking like cher- it's rather weird) Wikipedia explains who Erui is best: "In Irish mythology, Ériu (/ˈeːrʲu/), daughter of Ernmas of the Tuatha...

Does the paint give off a sheen like other metalic paints?

Yes, in this photograph of it, the paint gave off a
onze look. Depending on certain angles in which you look at it, the paint actually becomes clear-ish.

The shading is pretty awesome-the feather in the drawing (I love!) The idea is great but the upper body seems abit stiff. Perhaps making the body bend a little more downward would make the image more fluid.
Just something to consider... :D

Great advice!!!
This is an old piece- I did it when I was in high school (freshman year?) I can't believe my art teacher didn't notice the bad perspective... also that it took me so long to notice it as well!
Cheers!

The Future- War

This is a drawing I began a while ago, which originally was going to be a watercolor painting...but well I got carried away in the drawing proccess. What I plan to do is create (in the background) more futuristic military people in a straight line formation. The sentence that kept poping in my mind ...

Color pencil- Messy paper board

This is a drawing- using prisma color pencils on black paper-of a still life (of paper scraps stuck to a wall) **The art was rolled previously, causing ripples in the paper so that's why the lighting isn't quite right in the picture.

Critiques on my Eriu painting please

This is 98 percent water color painting, while the name eriu is in an acrylic metalic paint.
So....what do you think?

This is a lovely piece but I couldn't help but feel there is something missing. There was no part of the picture that was the true focus (yes, the hibiscus was in the front but that's it...) everything was around the same "level” of color, nothing truly bold that made the flower unique from its...
