I'll drop the latest version online in a bit-changed the horizin to drop it expanding the view. Gave the hanfing man some soft light to give a face and hands without definition-that gives it some depth. Changed the red moon and repositioned both moons plus some color changes.

Hanging Moons of Langerhan Islets

'When the Moons rise to chase each other, Their pull ings the fury of the sulphuric acid mists. Beware ye of wicked mind, for these are the hanging moons of your kind.' Something I am working on. Not completely happy-horizontal perspective and no real 'depth'. I am working to make the image is photo...

I think it is a pretty good depictions. The *only* detail I would consider incorrect is the support of the arms to the cross-member, perhaps rope or binding? As far as the 'traditional' ghostly waif, white guy depicted as Christ it would be impossible-Jewish and possibly even black and frankly Chris...

Very nice and here is a kicker for you-I have a photo I took about ten years ago that is almost exactly like your painting. I've never used it or posted it but happened over it a couple weeks ago in my files. :)

The old man draws near and in a shaky voice he whispers "Listen to her words carefully child, but never, NEVER, look into her eyes or she will steal your soul!"

I think I fell down in those woods once. Chasing butterflies or something.

Put it on a dark blue wall or grey and use either a 3500K [IIRC] aqaurium "Deep Sea" flourescent lampt or perhaps a UV light with a soft regular light and I bet it glows-capture everyone that sees it.

I would say darken the background around the angel, add varies shades of grey/black to define the hair and, if you want to stay with pink, use some different tones-cheek lines, under the eyes and so on.

Just a thot. ;)

"The Ghost of St. Elizabeth"

Shot this a couple of years ago. It was the ruins of a church up in the mountains. Back and right side were collapsed into the basement. Photoed a Frsco and an old chandeliers-had planned to go back and salvage those and the steeple but it was bulldozed only two weeks before my trip back. Now it is ...

Photographers?

I am about 80% a photographer and 20% artist using mainly CGI Photoshop/Corel/Bryce and so on to create my images. Now, reading thru the forums I have not noticed any photos-maybe one here and there but nothing jumps at me and I do see a lot of great art. I entered some of my work in the monthly art...
